Hi guys,

I wanted to know what insurance do you guys use for your smart cars? I've been looking around but did not know if most people used the main insurance companies like GEICO and State Farm 9 Cheap Monthly Car Insurance With No Deposit To Use Today.

Also, what is the average premium for 25 year olds who reside in Florida with fair credit. I need full coverage, roadside assistance, and good multi-car options.

I appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you!

I was with Allstate until I purchased my Smart Cabrio. I’m 43, so I can’t comment on rates for a 25 yr old. I actually switched to Geico when I got quotes. My former insurance agent told me Allstate has the highest rates for single drivers versus the other insurance providers in Arkansas. I also insure a Mazda5 (micro minivan) and the quote I received from Allstate for the Smart was $10 more that I was paying for the Mazda per month. I was paying $125 per month for the Mazda and the Smart would have been and additional $130. I switched to Geico with the exact same coverage and deductibles for $123.00 per month for BOTH vehicles.

Yeah, I just found out from my insurance agent that they don’t like the Smart much. Apparently, collisions worse than a minor fender-bender are almost considered totaled. This translates into higher premiums.

My insurance plummeted when I turned 23. I'm 25 now and enjoy comfortably low premiums. I'm with "Insure On The Spot" and am only covering my 451 right now as the other two aren't driven in the winter.
