I know that the air is coming from the outside then to the intake (one and two) but is the (3) one going out of the rear or into the exhaust

I did some reading on that and it seems like you have to cut the air box out or make life difficult to get to the lower bolt without hacking the box up

If the air intake is not getting air from the outside (cooler) then it wouldn’t function as it suppose too

I agree that hot air in a cold air intake system has to have some effect
