there may not be an answer to this and just have to live with it

Florida had a cold snap and as I was driving along I felt a lot of cold air on my feet. So I closed the recirc and noticed no change. I started feeling around while driving and figured out the air was coming in thru the speakers.

anyone noticed this and/or have a fix? I will add that my speakers do need to be changed (rattle) so maybe the holes in the diaphram are the culprit???

I think we hit the high for today, a whopping -5 so a little cold snap would be a welcome change. Sounds like someone may have decided the air barrier may not be needed or has come unglued on your door. Not something I would mess with in sub-zero temps..

In the video, it seems it would have been just as easy to lift the 'weather shield' out of the way rather than cutting it and taping it back together.
