Have a cracked valve stem sleeve on one of the front alloy rims on my 2009 Passion that I'm going to have replaced. Managed to free the rim from the hub after soaking it for two days with PB Blaster (another issue there). When I got it off, I noticed what I considered to be an excessive amount of tape weight on the rim for balancing. I believe that these are the original tires. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this on any of their rims? The rim appears to be straight, from what I can tell. I guess I'll find out when I take it in for replacement stem and rebalancing.
