I'm really hoping to maybe find some Blizzak's to throw on the front of my Smart this year... Or maybe even just a slightly wider all season that'll work during the warmer months, too. Anyone know of any alternate sizes that might be usable without affecting turning angle or anything?

These are from my notes on 453 (filed under "future upgrades")
Disclaimer:
I have not tried any of the suggested upgrade yet as my current set of tires are still in pretty good shape.
But likely I would try option 2 in the future.

Stock rims:
  • Front: 5.0Jx15CH 32mm offset
  • Rear: 5.5Jx15CH 42mm offset
Stock tires:
  • Front: 165/65R15 29psi (width: 6.5in, dia: 23.4in)
  • Rear: 185/60R15 36psi (width: 7.3in, dia: 26.7 23.7in)
Possible "tires upgrade" on stock rims
  • Option 1:
    • Front: 185/55R15 (width: 7.3in, dia: 23.0in)
    • Rear: 205/50R15 (width: 8.1in, dia: 26.1 23.1in)
  • Option 2:
    • Front: 175/65R15 (width: 6.9in, dia: 24in)
    • Rear: 195/60R15 (width: 7.7in, dia: 27.2 24.2in)

Correction on all "Rear dia" (made error when copying) Sorry
