My 2015 Passion with 45,000 miles has an odd bouncing when starting out from a stop.
The situation is that the car is stopped. Either when first starting out of the garage or it also can occur when starting from a stoplight. When I lift my foot from the brake pedal is when the odd bouncing motion happens. Three to five bounces. Accelerating stops it.
I thought it was probably the clutch but I had my car in recently for an annual tuneup. I described the situation and symptoms and they told me that the engine was out of sync with the transmission or something like that. It was a software issue and they installed the latest upgrade. But I noticed that it is still doing the odd little bounce. My husband and I think it's the clutch.
I've tried to search the forums for symptoms when the clutch or clutch actuator is going bad but didn't find what I was looking for.
Does anyone have any experience with such a situation? And recommended actions to correct?
