I'm looking at an one owner 2013 Chevrolet VOLT with 66,000 miles.
I'm wanting to hear from current and former owners about what to look for or what to look OUT FOR with the car.
I love the concept of the Volt vs hybrid or pure ev.

I'm all ears.

Best car I ever owned that’s the reason I have my smart car. Back in July my 2013 volt was totaled because of a lightning strike. And couldn’t find one like it with money insurance paid me. So for time being till I get another volt I bought my 2013 smart. As far as what to look for. I don’t know. I had mine since 14 and up till lighting strike had no problems

Went Ahead and Did It

I Bought a Chevy Volt.
Flew up to San Jose to see it. I liked it, bought it, and drove it home.
A one owner 2014 Chevy Volt Premier. It has all the bells, whistles. cameras..etc.
The seller had a Tesla model 3 and was selling this one so he could his wife a new car in order to get a new "California Clean Air Sticker" I have no idea about that. I guess you have to keep buying new cars every few years in order to get a new stickers.

I'll start out with I don't care for 4 door cars I'm very uncomfortable getting in and out of any car with a low roof line. But I bought it anyway. I heard Battery Cars are the wave of the future like "plastics".
Next thing you know cars will have Flux Capacitors or fly.

JL

PS Does anyone else find GM seats to be particularly uncomfortable on long drives 2 hours or more?

It took me awhile to get the seat where I wanted it. Every time I got in it I made an adjustment. But I finally got it set. I prefer 2dr myself but I liked my volt. But I would like to find a good condition Cadillac ELR but they never seem to come on the market

100mpg was certainly exciting to see.
I'm getting used to driving my Chevy Volt. Really nice having the option of electric (short range 90%) and gas for longer trips still with decent mileage.
I really like the styling of the ELR especially it being a 2Dr. But even used, it's a wee bit pricey for me.
Have Happy and Safe Holiday's.
