Anyone up for a Smart Car Loco motion trip?

Here is a tentative suggestion...
Day One: Drive to Cass Scenic Railroad, (West Virginia) stay in one of the company cabins.
Some can house 10 - 12 people, or you can stay in a nearby hotel...
Cass Scenic Railroad State Park

Day Two: Ride the Train to Bald Knob, and stay in the Caboose or Wilderness cabin overnight..
At 4800+ feet up, this can be cold, and all food, water and cooking materials will have to be brought with us...
Cass Scenic Railroad State Park

Day Three: Ride the train down, with a second stay in a Company Cabin.
A three day rental may be an option for those who do not with to ascend...
(Ride up, then down same day)

If you break down the "per person" rate, it is not expensive...

Anyone interested?

I love the rustic look to it. Cass Railroad.

'Located in eastern West Virginia, Cass Scenic Railroad is accessible by State Route 28/92N between Dunmore and Green Bank in Pocahontas County. An 11-mile connector route, WV 66, now links the town of Cass to U.S. 219 at Slatyfork.'

It is a little too far for me. It seems really cool though. :)
