I Have a 2009 Bra. My latch broken and purchased a new plastic replacement which broke. Now with the recall I have to get it opened. I have a new whole latch but can't open it to get it replaced. Does anyone know how to do this without me paying the dealer. I can replace the part I just need to get to it. I have a coupe.

sometimes you can use a small screwdriver to rotate the part that is left after the tab breaks off enough to unlatch the locks, Takes a bit of playing with it but i have done it a number of times

If the lever is still in place, but not attached any more grab it with a pair of pliers and work it arouind a bit so it will pop out, then work with what is left underneath to release the latch.
