I'm getting back on the list as this was (& hopefully still is ) the best place to trouble shoot repairs to the smarts.
I replaced my first 08 with another one & have had it for 2 years now with no trouble, just keep up the basic maintenance on it. It's like Energizer battery bunny, it keeps going.
I would buy another new one if it wasn't for the high service cost at the Mercedes shop.
