Back tire rubbing against back of the fender?

209 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  jetfuel
I recently had a “swerve into the curb” moment and after getting the car home..I noticed the back tire rubbing against the back of the rear fender well..from an “eyeball’s” point of view it looks as if the lateral arm is what is bent…it looks more straight than the passenger side lateral arm which has a slight bend just before the center mount..? Can anyone confirm that it can be fixed without replacing the actual lateral arm..it’s thin enough to use a wood block and a hammer correct? Only by taking them both off and matching them next to one another would be the beginning of the process?
