Hey all,

Has anyone done a brake upgrade with kit that included bigger rotors?

Any advantage in replacing the rear drums with a rotor kit?

Any feedback on good or dodgy kits?

Does it screw up ABS, instruments, or void warranty?

Many thanks!

Just put on a set of Power Sport slotted and drilled front rotors. If nothing else, they don’t rust if they have been sitting for a few days. Already saved me from a collision once.

No experience but I can list a few companies that make them:

S-Mann (Netherlands)
Smarts4YouRacing (UK)
CEiKA (Taiwan)

I got slotted rotors and high performance pads made in England from Rock Auto. They are great and I highly recommend them.

Why does the Smart need big brakes? Its not easy to exceed its braking efficiency. Just put in a nice set of slotted rotors and some BMC pads and your gold. Throw on some fake Brembo caliper covers look cool !
