tried a product that i like called Wipe New (acetone based), you can use it on black plastic trim, wiper arms, etc and adds a two year shield to the black parts which is better than the water based Back to Black. it may not be quite as shiney as the latter but holds a "new" look. it can also be used on the headlight lenses and interior plastic trim. it adds a very good VU protection.

I really like wipe new as well. Kept all my plastics looking good for about a year or so. And it was so easy to use and recoat!

i would not open it till you are ready to use it. i made the mistake of opening it and for some reason some leaked out. when it does it turns hard. so open only when ready to use and keep cap on tight....in fact it would be best to use it all when opened.
wait awhile and apply a second coat cause it will soak in and leave dry spots, almost like you missed a spot.
