Our 2013 Smart ForTwo Passion 18k miles occasionally has a blinking light on the Hazard Button on the dash. Car was sitting for 2 days and no other unusual behavior was noted. I started the car and it cleared whatever caused the blinking. I can find nothing in the owners manual that addresses what this might indicate. Any insights would be appreciated.

Possible bad internal switch or maybe loose wiring to the button? Just a guess.

I tried scanning for codes and got nothing. Possibly the scan removed a soft code/error.

I will continue to monitor it and see if the problem persists.
