Actually, it is exactly a collector item.

Boesch built doesn't make them anymore, and IF I had seen this a few hours earlier, I would have jumped at one for $90.

Yes, it will fit any year smart.

I have one in my 08 and need one for my 15.

If KillerBee drops out, I'll take it in a heartbeat.

Exactly, thank you Neon.

the Boesch Built mirror can be moved all the way up to the top of the windshield.
Actually allows me to see more of what's in front (and to the left) of me?

The standard mirror is right in my line of vision.

For some people, the stock mirror is too large and gets in the way of forward vision...

I was just about to say just that and with a cabrio the rear vision is limited anyway by the small window when the top is up and the lower part (which is where the extra is on the OE mirror) is obstructed by the folded down top. So without really giving up anything you are increasing the forward vision.

It doesn't hurt that it looks good and the design matches the arm rest and paddle shifters also by Boesch.

Just remove it.... Mine has been under the seat since I drove home from the dealer. As i recall that famous quote" What's behind us doesn't matter. we already passed it" besides you have 2 outside mirrors.
