It may be here for the LA Auto Show but that is just a guess on my part. Did you notice if it is ICE or ED powered? Mr Smart LA should probably know the answer.

It's an ICE model. I saw the exhaust tips, and it sounded awesome at cold start!

But if they are not selling it on our shore, why do they even tease us with it at the auto show?!

Thanks for verifying that it is ICE powered. I have no idea why this car is here & didn't think that a Brabus Ultimate could be ordered in the US. The only explanation I would have is, it is here for either the LA auto show or a commercial shoot. The commercials that featured a smart Car & Kobie Bryant were shot in downtown LA. The commercials were only aired in China. Hopefully, Mr. Smart LA will investigate and provide us with an answer. It would really be cool if it shows up in his inventory. In looking at the shifter, it could be a European shifter as it is fitted with the Brabus shift knob. It also has the 125 horsepower engine based on the rear display placard & extended paddles on the steering wheel.

The gear shifter has ultimate 125 around the Brabus logo. there is also a "1 of 125" plate below the center two air vents, looks pretty unique.
