i was having the alternatoor replaced 2008 451 conv the mechanic broke one bolt for the engine mount bracket the others not yet he thinks he has to drill it out im scared

…it all depends on how good your guy is…
…it’s not difficult to remove a broken bolt/stud from an engine…drill it and use an easy out tool or weld a nut to the broken shank and try again..,

do you know if these bolts go all the way to the block or just into the head? the mont bracket three bolts thanks for getting back to me

...no knowledge of the extent of the bolt...
... a broken bolt is a broken bolt and needs to be replaced by a good one....
