Im super curious as to how many of us there are in the US right now... I only know of me and one other person that have ours.

Anyone else with the new Brabus on here??

:D
Good luck with that. I believe you are way overestimating how many or how few BRABUS 453 owners there are in the United States. There are likely less than 15 on the road, of any color variety, in the United States. Likely even less than that. So take extra special care of your car. :nerd:

100 coupes between now and the end of the production cycle for gas coupes, and only 14 cabriolets between now and the end of production for all smart dealers in the USA combined, not including what has already been sold.

So, yeah, maybe 1 or 2 per dealership in total for the entire year. Good luck color shopping! :D

There are a lot new 453 Brabus's out there for sale. On cars.com. You can tell the difference right away. The Brabus wheels mimic the old Scion IQ alloys. It doesn't look like there is any special exhaust system.

How many?
I counted 5-6 of them from San Diego, Fort Worth etc. I didn't go though all them. Too many smart cars listed. Cars.com doesn't have the Brabus trim selector. What also strange, only a few dealership write up the trim, as the Brabus model. You have to look at the wheels to identify them. Strange no markings on the body. You can tell the front chin molding is difference. The car has a wider stance. The gear selector, wheel cap center has the Brabus logo. The Brabus is stamp on the alloy wheels.

That's all I counted. Didn't go though every new smart car out there. Their not mark up with the Brabus trim.
There aren't a lot. I have one that just arrived, we'll have a total of around 12-15 when all is said and done for the year. Most dealers will have 0 and won't be able to fill the request at any point throughout the year and ordering one is not an option either. I received a phone call from New Jersey for one of mine.

I just picked up my new Brabus Prime in Red last week. Replaced my 2005 Brabus with 82,000 miles.
I will try to get my new Avatar up soon.

So much changed since 2005. Most of it like the great shifting I love. But the tire noise explains why not so many are selling.
My 205 was fully upholstered and sound deadened and it only added 35 pounds. Well worth it.
We changed out the tires and made a great improvement. Next up will cover more of the bare plastic and quiet it down more.

Was looking at cars.com listings nationally. I would have guessed a Brabus would be at the top of the range cost wise but did not find one so far. I found a couple with Brabus wheels but when I checked the serial numbers they didn't seem to be a true Brabus. My 2010 vin shows that it is a Brabus. They also did not have any Brabus badges on the grill, or rear.

Did things change, also noticed on the two I saw with the Brabus wheels that they had the stock exhaust/rear valence or did the US version only get the stock exhaust? They did have the Brabus gas and brake pedals though. If this was a NA car I would have said the company was just tossing some surplus stuff from the parts bin on base models.

Was your 2005 Brabus a Nightrun?

Yep, no special B'bus exhaust.

Not "a lot" of MY17 Brabus "out there" and it appears that only higher volume smart Centers will be seeing them?

Also seems that most if not all MY17 Brabus & cabrios were factory configured so only early builds offered customer/dealer configuration?

As our friend in WC says, if you see a color with your options you may want to pull the trigger...

Yup, no upgraded twin tip exhaust on our 17 Brabus' here in the US. And no exterior badging either. We have the Brabus badging on the hand brake and Shifter knob tho. They arent 'Brabus' cars tho, they just have the Brabus Sports package added on top of whatever base model they are. Mine is Prime.

I have a question about your vin#. I have a 2009 US spec Brabus and there is no way to tell it is a Brabus from the vin#. We did not get the Brabus model again until about 2012 or 2013. I can't remember for sure. To my knowledge, US spec Brabus models were never vin# specific. What denotes your Canadian model on the vin# as a Brabus?
