Car won’t switch into drive until it’s warmed up 20 minutes!

Hi-
My car won’t switch into gear when I first start it. It makes me warm up for 20 minutes until I can move the shifter arm. I have a 2009 convertible. What can I do to fix it. No error message is shown on the dash.

Might want to hook up a code reader, and pull a specific code. That will tell you what’s wrong, with your car.
