I removed the low beam light bulbs and put in new ones but only the driver side works what could be the issue? i checked number 22 fuse for the passenger low beam and it doesnt look blown and the old headlight bulb onm the passenger side was working before i put the new one in. I tried putting back in the old one and it wont light up but the old one was working the whole time i had the car. What can be the issue? Does this have anything to do with the clip that holds the light bulb or no cause mine is loose even when i snap it into place?. My parking, high beam, and signal lights work on the passenger side.

If you plug in a new bulb without installing it in the housing, it should light up. Clip is mounted on the reflector for the headlight which is made of plastic and has no connection to the car frame so it can not be a ground. The ground is located in the plug in for the bulb.

If the clip is not tight when it is installed, the bulb could move around and break the filament (burn out) quicker. If it is difficult to put the clip that holds the bulb in place is difficult to put in place, chances are the bulb needs to be rotated as it only fits in one location. If it is installed wrong, the light pattern will be crooked and you won't be able to see as well, or blind others that are driving towards you.
