Many of you here now have battery test units in your possession. Yinzer and I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where you could compare your battery test results to others, so we developed a short report form to share data. We think that the Ah numbers are most important, so we shortened our form to just report that. The Ah numbers are found near the end of the battery test report.

Please copy Post #2 to report your results. That way the reports will be pretty standard for comparison sake. Note the "period" at the very beginning of my two posts below. It seems as though there must be at least one character outside of the quoted message. Of course if you sign your post, that will take care of that too. Also I just made my notes in red to make it easier to read. We're happy to get your results anyway we can.

When doing your test, this info was sent to me from the All-Data subscription:

^ Leave vehicle parked for approximately 2 hours (no driving, no charging).
^ After this idle period of approximately 2 hours, connect the charging cable, and fully charge the vehicle to 100 % SOC.
^ The vehicle can then be operated normally again.”

I've had the car about 700 miles and 3 weeks at these numbers in ohio

It doesn't seem like this data is from when I took the test (4/13), but rather the current state of the batteries (Last measurement says 0 days). I had to drive 23 miles and had 60% SOC when this test was run. Thanks again to Jim and Len (and Kris!) for lending this unit for the reading.

Drove car to 24% SOC, let it sit 1h45m, charged to 100% - readings from the bottom section of Min/Mean/Max

Tested the 2014... it was at a low SOC, sat half the day, then fully charged between lunch and when John got off work.

In the last week, we've driven our ED more than typical, and much of that on the freeway. Earlier today, my wife drove the ED running a bunch of in-city errands and got in excess of 1 mile per 1% SOC - she drove over 30 miles with the SOC still showing about 73-74% full. I then ran it down further with a longer freeway run and seemed to get a bit more than normal range.

I think right now, temperatures are about optimal for charging/discharging, and it again shows that the battery statistics can be improved by consistent usage at higher discharge rates to a deeper depth of discharge. We're now about to leave on a four week long vacation during which the ED will sit. We're intending on leaving it at about 65% charged and will see what happens after we get back.
