as a new owner i am constantly amazed at what this car can do compared to american iron. the other day i learned this car will turn the hazard lights on when in an accident. what got me to thinking was what if you're in an accident and knocked out does it unlock the doors so first responders can get to you?

Mine didn't 2 years ago on the way to the Dragon...I was cut off by a figgin 18 wheeler who proceeded to slam his brakes which forced me to wail on my brakes at 70 mph and dive for the shoulder and rumble strips. 70 to nothing.....NO 4 ways. Maybe I didn't stop quick enough, but all I know was the car was a handful to keep in line.
(yeah I forwarded his tag number to the authorities)

I've noticed this too. It does it, but not always. I've noticed from speeds of 50 to 0 it'll cause the hazards to flash. However faster and it seems to ignore the emergency event. I'm guessing that much like deploying/not deploying in crashes, the car will arbitrarily decide what's worthy of flashing the turn indicators based on what the sensors are reporting.
