Converting bike rack into cargo rack!

We need to haul some gear to my wife's craft show this weekend and our SUV is being repaired after it got hit, so time to rig something up so we can fit everything in the smart! Just used some scraps of plywood and 2x4 I had laying around and built a platform around the bike rack. Now just need to load it up and put some ratchet straps to hold everything down!

Sounds like great idea. Did you take a picture of your rig? It would be interesting to see. DCO
