I am sure on a microscopic level it might bother some people, mine is not a show car, it’s my work-commuter car and the polished clean and clear roof is good enough for me. And it’s an 11 yr old car like mentioned afterall. It will never be new again. The walk-up-to-the car is perfectly shining top, that’s what bothered me most about it originally. For San Diego weather it’s clear enough to enjoy the beutiful night sky and palm trees view through the roof. I only wet sanded through all the steps.

My '09 needs a replacement for sure ...got all the materials needed including the Lexan I'll be using but instead fabricated a hardtop out of Kevlar for my convertible 818S ( a 4 month job) just to keep the rain out after getting wet in a return trip from Chicago....too many projects...

Jetfuel...not enough hours in a day...

...yeah I know...one at a time...already started this winter project...disassemble the 818 down to the frame to sand and paint and while I'm at it saw new interior leather seats....
