I have a 2010 Fortwo Passion. Whenever I am on a steep incline and begin to accelerate I have what sounds like a creaking sound from the rear. Anyone have any ideas?

Inspect your sway-bar bushings and apply some rubber compatible lube to see if that eliminates the squeaking. If so, the noise will probably come back and require replacing the rubber bushings.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like your rear brake shoes Creaking. When you slowly let off the brakes.

I agree with Bob. When accelerating on a hill, the center of gravity shifts toward back. This results in back end of the car squatting a little bit.
Looking at the bushings and lubricating them is a good place to start.
