does anyone know how to get the fan and temp knob off. i pulled hard but was afraid of breaking them.

someone just posted recently about taking it apart and they said it was difficult. Can't seem to find it now, which is why we try to move posts into the right category. :shrug:

The knobs do not come off. The shaft on which they pivot is part of the knob and goes into the hvac control unit from the side. The end of the shaft has barbs that allow it to snap into place but attempting to remove it will break it. The hvac unit is not meant to be serviceable. I have posted photos of it but I am too lazy to look for them.
