I've just noticed that smart doesn't refer to the Fortwo anylonger on the US site... though they continue to use "Fortwo" elsewhere, e.g., Germany.

On the US sight, the models are simply called the Pure Coupe, Passion Coupe, etc.

Probably been discussed, probably a stupid question.

Hmmm.

Since their marketing campaign was against dumb, maybe they realized that with only two seats it should be obvious that it is, for two?

This may serve to further confirm their comments that in the U.S. near term, there are NO PLANS for a forfour or other EURO variants?

To the uninformed, this moves them in the U.S. from "one trick pony" the fortwo to FIVE - pure coupe, passion coupe, passion cabrio, ED coupe and ED cabrio?

Marketing genius, makes it sound like there are new models in the showroom?

Actually the website build and price stills uses the "forTwo" name?

smart.com - CC

And there are FIVE different models? Electric Coupe and the ONLY Electric Cabrio available (NEW) in the US? (since the Tesla Roadster is no longer in production)
