Well, after 10 years my dodge stubby bit the dust and cracked. Just put one on my truck, so I am giving this a shot for the little guy. Very well built and I use XM all of the time so reception is not an issue.

Hmmmm......so they are made from Alluminium eh......and they are a simple threaded rod to attach them to the stock snapped off peg, yep mine snapped last week. I didn't know what was in it or what the after markets ones were made from. Thanks...if it's simply alluminium, I am turning alluminium as we speak for a lift kit....Hmmm...?...lol. Some black plaint and done deal.

The question now is......what is better, is alluminium the best material to make it from? OR do some anteneas have some sort of wiring inside them to get better reception? I normally listen to siris anyway but thought I'd ask?

I was thinking of going hog wild and getting a whip and mounting it in the stock place and attaching the end on the corner of the roof...lol...just for giggles...lol. But this is now a freebie...lol...Thanks
