I have a 2011 smart fortwo and i believe is missing a part located under the dash passenger side please if ya know what this is called. I need help, also does this has anything to do with the AC thank you

If the OP's photo on the right is from the car in question, the part circled in red is not missing anything. However, just below it is the thermistor that reads and helps control the A/C temperature - that is normally a white connector plug (as in the left photo) and it appears to have one wire disconnected. Should be replaced IMHO but I don't think the plug is sold separately from the A/C wiring harness.

The picture circle ⭕ is a picture from the internet the other one is my car and that litttle cage appears to be empty in my car and not in the circle ⭕ picture

Exactly asee there is somthing inside that little cage, what is that mine is empty
