Just my downshift paddle won't play nice. The upshift works just fine. The down was being kind of erratic for a while, but now it won't do anything. Not a real big deal around town, but it really hampers my driving ability when I go to the Tail of the Dragon!:) I haven't done anything to try and fix it. I'm not a smart mechanic and don't have a garage or a decent place to take things apart where I live (gotta love condo living!) If there is a not so involved fix I can let a local shop have at it. I just don't want to pay for them to research the problem.
This is a 2013 model, by the way, if it matters.

Well, if worse comes to worse, at least I have a reference now... Now to troubleshoot...
Russ: I would first check fuses and then unbolt the paddle shifter and see if the plug has not come loose. You have to do this from behind the steering wheel. Does manual mode work when using the shifter? If so, that would probably take you back to the paddle shifter or the wiring harness.
