Long and the short of the story my spouse (gotta love them) ran over the cord of the level 2 charger with another car resulting in pulling the cord short and snapped the plug and broke all of the plastic ears from the plug itself. As you can see in the photo I have tried to JB weld it. I have called MB and they tell me that I have to purchase the whole thing including the cable ($1,170.00 +tax). No damage to the plug itself and still functioning.

That's still cheaper than a new spouse.

No photo - I'd like to see that before saying that price is outrageous.

To say the least.... That is the craziest thing i have heard. I told the parts guy that they could keep it.
