*Sigh* I'm getting tired of this. At least twice a year without failure someone finds some way to cause damage to Tucker. If it's not keys, it's paintballs, and if it's not paintballs, it's vomit or eggs.
In 2016, Tucker went the whole year without being touched. I thought maybe, just maybe my car's days of getting vandalized were over. Oh silly me.
From my estimations, someone egged Tucker Friday night. They threw one egg (which made a direct impact onto the tridion cell) and then threw a second egg...which miraculously missed both cars, rolled under Tucke, then exploded open there.
The worst part is that I didn't leave my apartment at all on Saturday, meaning the egg and its shell had a whole day to bake into my paint under the hot sun. Needless to say when I discovered it on Sunday, some of the egg was actually fried into my paint. Getting it off wasn't easy.
At the point of impact there are dozens of pinhole craters that go down to the metal, and many other pinhole craters that don't. Towards the bottom of the door (where the egg pooled up) an entire 5mm chunk of paint came off, thankfully only revealing the white base coat below, not the metal. It's just a mess. Ugh...why couldn't they get the windows or the plastic panels...
At least they spared the 453. Though I'm kinda panicking because what if it happens again????
Alright, so I guess I have to fix this garbage now. I got the car cleaned and assessed the damage. And I guess while I'm fixing this I might as well fix those rock chips on the A-Pillar too. What's the process to fixing this damage? Can I fix it myself?
I have many more photos, though the SCoA upload tool is kinda janky, so these three should suffice.
