jimvw57 told me something i did not know.....that these cars generally put out about 14v and leds dont last long. he mentioned installing a voltage drop down relay and i am wondering about just putting a resistor inline with the device. what do you think?

anyone else run into this problem?

sorry, but I picked up a pair of these and ended up not using them. Now I don't recall where I got them. the only number on them is RG12 and I believe I got them on a LED site. they are a voltage regulator suppressor and were meant to go inline to give a 12vdc output.

I never got a chance to use them as the LED unit I was going to use it on burned out on the car. says it is only rated at 1000MA

has anyone else had a problem with leds burning out unusually fast?

nope, interior, plate light and front and side markers are working fine. A couple of years now
