Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew why my engine decided to get really loud all of a sudden. It happened yesterday and I can’t figure out why. When I put my car up, I noticed that there was some bolts missing, image is attached. I’m not sure what caused this. I drive a 2009

sorry, no images until after your 3rd post. but I would guess that your exhaust flex pipe is broken. See if the muffler is real wiggley and loose.

Sudden increase in noise , flex pipe or loose exhaust flange (since you said a bolt is missing but I can’t see an image)

the flex pipe coming off caused my car to get very loud. I had it repaired but - in a way - missed the loud noise. It sounded like a roadster.
