I would like to zip up my 453 Prime coupe. Can i put a Brabus exhaust on it? If so, does it sound like it growls and has the burble and pop upon deceleration? Love that! Also, I wild like the get the most hp i can—what ecu tune does anyone recommend?

I like my Lorinser exhaust and power pack .(new version ) . But I’m sure the other offerings are good too , technology allows that .
Plug in engine management , boosts hp, although not a cheap upgrade .

Does your exhaust burble and pop? How aggressive does it sound?
Whuile I'll be the first to admit that it's fun to squeeze the most performance out of anything that you're driving: I've got to wonder if having the fastest Smart will really accomplish much? :sneaky:
How many more stoplight races will you be able to win with it?
Smart Maddness for the Purchase , the exhaust is not loud or crackly, it does have a nice tone , but meets the European standards for noise restrictions . I enjoy the sound cause it’s better than the stealth stock set up. Having the extra hp is a nice thing when your driving . It makes the experience much more pleasurable regardless without having to “race” anyone .

If you want that "pop"....Smart Madness sells a blow off valve for the 453 turbo.

Over the holidays we installed a Solo cat back double center tip on our 451. Downshifting in manual mode will give you all the growls, burble and pop your heart desires. Seriously people turn their heads thinking something “bad arse” is approaching and when they realize it’s our little stinky, it’s usually smiles and laughs that are received.

We did the same thing over the holidays. You are 100% right. It sounds great and people turn their heads when they hear it. It's a blast to pass people and end up next to them at the next stop light. They are always looking over in disbelief.

Hello Wiggy,
To say it’s not breathed life into the car would be an understatement. It’s one of those projects that you sit back and say “why didn’t I install this years ago” Besides sounding great, it makes the car more visible too others driving next to you so your less likely to get run over.
SOLO did their homework when it came to installing it, very straight forward. And they do offer several different types as replacements, everything from a gentle purr, to a growl. We took the growl thank you!
Hoping this weekend we can install the new Valance to replace the original that we cut out to install the double tips.

Good question, considering I already win most of them.

I replaced the rear valance today and was surprised how cooked the Crome is. It’s only a month old. But with all due respect, and IMHO it’s the best sounding exhaust that one could ever add to their smart and being a motorcycle rider, Loud pipes saves lives!

Keep in mind a fairly hot, well modded smart is just about as fast 0-60 as your garden variety Camry.

I’ll beat anything off the line, first 50 feet she’s a dragster, after that all I see is “red” taillights off in the distance. Oh the satisfaction gained of winning the start!
