It was gradual, but persistent. Left the restaurant, and within the 15 mile drive home, my car went from soundling like brand new to sounding 20 years old. Wow it's noisy with an exhaust leak.

The work list is now:
Air Bag Light (diagnose/repair as needed)
Valve inspection/adjustment
Exhaust repair.

Starting to get overwhelmed by how much this is going to cost me.

It's been nearly trouble free to this point, though.. haven't had to invest much other than oil/filter changes, brakes, and tires.

Good times.

Exhaust leak is probably the flex hose going from the cat to the muffler. Any competent muffler shop should be able to weld in a new one cheap. A flex hose should only run you about $25 + install labor.

Thanks for the positivity! you know, I haven't checked the connectors under the driver's seat. I did check the passenger's seat. I will check mine tonight.
