Hi all,

Recently, my 2013 brabus started making a strange fan noise only when the fan is on. It doesn't matter if A/C is engaged or not. It almost sounds like a leaf or pine needle got into the air intake and its rattling against the fan, because sometimes there is no noise when the fan is on, then randomly there is a paper shuffling flapping sound like something is moving around followed by what sounds like a fan hitting a piece of paper which is decently loud.

Is there a way to check some of the vents or the blower fan for debris in the dash without having to take apart the entire front of the car? Could this be something else entirely?

Pull the blower motor from under the dash and see if anything is in there, also try the cabin filter. Maybe it fell apart??
