As most of you know, the gasoline version of the smart 453 has been discontinued in the United States. The current/future of smart is about 100% electric power.

However. There are still a few gas smarts left in SoCal. Serious folks are welcome to inquire via private message, as most folks seem to believe they are all gone already. Not quite. Almost. But not completely.

If you live in a "tax upfront" state, then, yeah... I see the issue. California dealers have a contract that pertains to California law, and that alone literally contradicts what other states require in terms of taxes. There may be exceptions to that rule, so I'm dropping hints here. For further Q's, reach me via p.m. and let's see what your proposed scenario is. :nerd:

That's a good question, I really don't know the answer to it. Somebody may be able to reverse engineer it by checking overall sales figures for what has sold in the past. It might be a better question for Keith...

It can't, because there are still a few floating around. We have 5 of them left, some floating around at a few dealers across the country.

Used cars and used car dealers would not exist without the new car dealers offering them first. There should be room to offer exclusively new vehicles in a dealership thread.
