Hello,

Recently I've bought me a Smart Fortwo (production year = 2008).
This morning I wanted to play some music, so I put in a CD (for the first time).
Immediatly the display showed "CD error" and I could hear a weard noise coming from the CD player.
I tried to eject the CD, but it doesn't work. Even when I pull out the key the CD player still makes the noise.
Does anyone have any idea how to eject the CD?

Kind regards,

Max

My 2008 CD player..............

I had the same problem that you are having.I kept pressing the EJECT
button hard,and holding for 3 to 4sec. After 15 or 20 attempts,it finally
ejected the CD...When I complained at smart center, they loaded and
ejected a CD 15 times in a row NO PROBLEM..................
It seems the smart radio/CDplayer is very sensitive to home-burned CD's.I burned my CD's on my home computer from music files.I have QUIT
using home made CD's,and have not had a problem since......................
