Hi everyone again thank you for the advice on our gas leak problem that鈥檚 all fixed 馃檪 now another problem . It is raining here as usual these days in pa. Went to turn around our newly purchased 2009 Smart and the front brakes locked up 馃槥 can鈥檛 move the damn thing 馃槥 any input would be appreciated

Yup, sometimes it requires a lot of throttle if the car's been parked for a while, but that'll usually do the trick.

If they're actually locked, I'm not sure what you could do outside of taking them apart.

More likely to be the rear drum brakes than the front discs. Mine will do this occasionally, a little throttle and they pop free.

I鈥檝e learned this lesson , I put our Brabus in the garage after a trip with wet roads , parking brake applied for two weeks , it took some throttle to budge it loose . Now I park all our Smarts that sit in the garage without the parking brake applied .
