Hi All,

I own a 2009 Smart Fortwo Passion. The front bumper grill in my car is damaged. And the clear coat painting is starting to peel off.

Firstly, can someone please send me link or guide me to site where I can buy the parts. I know smart car parts are extremely rare to find. The part I'm looking to replace is (attached picture)

Secondly, please recommend where/how to get a new clear coat paint? Other than dealership

good place! I got my 'front end repair' kit from them when I hit a deer. came with everything I needed and then some! even the bolts.

Someone on the Facebook group is looking for a front end.

My red smart was also shedding the clear-coat (as if it was the second skin).
I was able to pull off almost 90% of clearcoat as plastic sheets !!
Then I removed each panel, cleaned > sanded > cleaned again and then spray painted with plastic 'friendly' paint.
But there was so much static electricity, that paint kept 'spider-webbing' on me
So I sanded the paint (after 48 hours) and painted again, but this thing is not going away....
Any recommendations would be very helpful.... Thank you in advance.
