Hi,
Front signal light appears to be burned out on drivers side - what bulb is needed to replace and how hard is it to do - hope it is easier than a headlight....
Thanks,

The bulb is a PY21W for the front Canadian turn signals. Assuming you haven't moved the signals up to the headlights, replacing is in some ways easier than replacing a headlight.
1) Remove the front grill (See Evilution - Smart Car Encyclopaedia)
2) Unscrew the 3 scres holding the turn signal to the front panel (Should be 3 phillips screws).
3) Pull the light unit away from the panel, and twist off the back side.
4) Replace bulb
And of course, do the reverse to put it back together again.

I don't still have the original turn signals, but it seems to me that the European ones built into the headlight units are PY21W with the offset pins, but the original ones don't have offset pins and are just regular 21 W amber bulbs with pins 180 degrees apart.
