Yup they can easily be mounted and wired in place of your stock ones for a solid upgrade over the extremely shitty stock ones. I actually just upgraded the 2 speaker system of my 451 with a Pioneer stereo, JL amp, JL stealth subwoofer, JL tweeters, and JL 6.5inch door speakers. I was originally going to install these, but decided to go with a higher end system. There are a lot of write-ups and tutorials of how to install these online.
