Just out of curiosity, where do you keep your garage door remote? Has anyone upgraded their rear view mirror to a one with home link buttons or installed home link buttons directly on the headliner or somewhere in the car? I am currently placing my remote in the storage cabin under gear selector, but I have to open/close the drawer in order to get it out. The drawer is opening on the passenger side, so it is getting annoying.

Clipped to the sunvisor, but with a rubber pad stuck to the roof so the clip of the remote won't gouge the plastic.

Bought a tiny remote, and clipped it to the sun visor.

Velcro to console overhead. Right by the rear view mirror. Pic is pre-install but I circled where I put my garage door opener.

My garage door opener is a little bit bulky, and not clips on the back. It's literally like a brick... I am thinking about getting this installed in a similar place, or installed a Gentex auto-dimming rear mirror with home link buttons.
