Athena produces very High Quality wheel spacers, that are CNC machined to exact tolerances, and anodized to prevent oxidation and creating a more appealing look.

The Athena Wheel Spacers are designed to improve both your car's appearance and performance. These spacers allow your wheels to sit more flush with the fender and allows the wheels to fit perfectly in the wheel wells. When you extend the wheels out from the hubs you also improve your car's overall handling.

Any chance you have before and after pics on a 453? And what do you measure to decide which spacers to get?

Hello Jeb,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

It seems like over the years some of our photos have gone missing as computers have been updated so I don't have any before and after photos on hand.

I did fine these of our 453 with 17mm wheel spacers installed on the rear.

When picking wheel spacers for your application it is always best to take a base line measurement on your smart.

When we need to measure here at the shop we will make a basic plum bob with some string and a weight. (normally a spare washer/bolt) tie one end to the weight and using some masking tape attach the other end to the top of the wheel arch.

With the weight hanging on the centerline of the wheel take a measurement of the distance between the string and the wheel lip or tire depending on what you want flush with the fender.

That distance is the size of the spacer needed. There are many variables between smart cars/wheels/personal taste and taking the measurements is normally quick enough that we have found it better to measure than use a blanket statement of what sizes are best.

If you need any additional help with measuring or deciding on your wheel spacers please don't hesitate to give our Team a call and they will be more than happy to help. (CA)562-981-6800 (TX)512-982-9393. Thanks again!
