So my glove box door has split down the middle: http://imgur.com/mEsQ240. It seems to have been glued together as it does not snap back together.

Anybody have experience with this part? Not sure how to fix it other than some epoxy or a half gallon of chewing gum. I thought it would just snap back together.

Dead post I know, but this might help someone someday.
It looks like the two pieces were electronically welded together. No doing that for us I think, but a few dabs of model airplane cement might work to put it back together.

FYI, the dealership fixed it. They either replaced the door or melted it back together. I think it's a new part, though, since it looks factory.

I know this is an old thread, but Locktite GEL superglue holds Smart Car plastic parts together very well. My passenger seat belt receiver cover came apart. This component gets a lot of use. Holding fine.
