I know this is an older post, but it’s a great overview of the 451 suspension. Thank you OP. On my 09 cabrio about 10k miles ago, I replaced the shocks, swapped springs to progressives and run rear rims/tires on the front (175/55R15 on 5.5 x 15s). I like the set up much better than stock (little-to-no rocking horse effect, less bottoming out and seems tighter in the corners). Couple of questions if anyone has thoughts: 1) Anything I need to consider replacing soon, especially with the heavier tires & stiffer springs (bushings, tie rod ends, etc.) and 2) Anything more I can do to improve handling?
