Gopedal alternative?

I have not used their go pedal but have had their power boost on my 453 for a couple years. Totally satisfied. Made in Germany and have U.S. outlet.

How does it add 14 hp? Can a chip do that??

And it is much more expensive than the gopedal...

Absolutely! I don’t know the details on the 451 motor but on the 453 that motor is capable of up to 120hp I believe. This isn’t a chip, it’s a box that plugs into the wiring harness in the engine compartment and modifies the factory tuning to produce more hp and torque. Remember, all the parameters of tune and performance are now computer controlled and so can be modified easily. I have the mildest version and you can definitely Italy feel the difference! Torque is supposed to be increased by 20 ft lbs and hp by about 15 hp. It works very well on the 453 motor.

These tuner devices produce better results on turbo motors like the one in the 453....

..... and the 453 motor is more sophisticated in terms of tuning opportunities than the 451 motor.

There should be a go pedal for the 451 on CPA Chip Tuning. They did have a U.S. site but when I tried to load it a bit ago it wouldn’t load. I originally researched them through their German site but when I was ready to purchase I discovered there was a newly opened U.S. site so no long distance shipping and they had a sale. Paid about $260 for the bottom end PowerBox. Their version of the go pedal was under $200.

I have the GoPedal on my '09 Brabus coupe. If you don't want to pay full price, search EBay. I have seen used setups for $150.00. Good luck.
