Hello!
I installed a GoPedal the other weekend on my 2013 Smart Fortwo.
This was such a quick and easy 5 minute installation, I can't believe Smart Madness was trying to charge me $100 to do it for me! YIKES!
I wanted to know what you guys are doing for the mounting/wire tho?
Right now the wire is just hanging right above my gas pedal, and its obviously incredibly unsafe.
Does anyone have any pictures of how they mounted their pedal?
I bought velcro strips to mount the actual remote onto the underside of my dash, but I would love to hear any tips and tricks to get the wire out of the way so its not dangling. I tried tape, but it doesn't hold very well, and keeps coming undone.

Zip ties? I ran mine behind the trim to the right of the pedal and mounted it below the lighter on my 09.

What did you connect the zip ties too? The other wires hanging above? I just want to make sure it won't rip anything out or unplug any other wires.

I mounted the GoPedal in my '09 several years ago. To the right of the gas pedal, there is a factory split in the carpet. I inserted the black wire in the split and ran it under the carpet. It comes out and the module is mounted to the area just behind the cup holder. The extra wire is tucked under the carpet and only a couple of inches of wire is visible where the module is mounted with double sided heavy duty Velcro.

Sorry to bump an older thread and apologies for not seeing this sooner.

I just wanted to chime in and say there might have been a misunderstanding in regards to labor on the GOPedal.

We typically do a free install on the GOPedal as a courtesy to our customers since they are already at the shop and are excited to try out the product.

If your experience was different, please PM me any information that may assist in preventing this from happening again. I am pretty confident that this was a misunderstanding and we never want our customers to feel like they are getting taken advantage of.
