my stock radio isn't doing to well and i need to replace it. i would like a nice radio but don't want anything real fancy yet still fits in with the stock look fairly well (if there is such a thing). would you mind posting a picture of what you have in your car with a few details (make/model etc) and just mention if a lot of modifications have to be made or an adapter kit is needed. I'd rather install it myself then pay for an audio shop to chop the wiring up.

Might want to replace your antenna first. I have had trouble with the connector out on the outside of the car and replacing the mast and mounting point helped

Crutchfield.com. They will carry any type of sound system, at your price point. The dash board adapter, wiring, antenna connection. Instruction. The OEM radios, are nothing but door stops.
